Water
The molecule of water a very interesting molecule with many important properties. These properties are the result of its bond and it's shape. A water molecule has a bent shape. This molecule shape has a bond angle of 90 degrees according to valence bond theory and a bond angle of 109.5 degrees according to vsepr theory. In reality the bond angle is 104.5 degrees. This coupled with its polar bonds results in a water molecule being polar. This polarity causes many of water's interesting properties like cohesion and adhesion.
