Project Wikis, Info to Get You Started

Click here for basic instructions on how to create and edit pages.

Once your wiki group has been chosen and you've told Mr. Bontront, you will be given access to a folder in which to create your files (see the basic instructions link above to help you get started.  It's the same information Mr. Bontront demonstrated in class.)

Inside your folder, you will see that a file called 'GroupXX-titlepage' is already there.  Use this page as your title page (more details when you open that file from your folder).  Create more pages to hold the content of your project.

 Sample Project Wiki's

The following are examples of project wikis that you can use as reference to help you get started on your group wiki project. Not only do they show a good example of how to present your project data, but also show different methods to include links to navigate among the different pages of your project wiki.  Note that the subjects presented by these samples are not valid choices for your project wiki subject.

Sample1, Energy Debate:  This sample shows a menu on the first page, with links on other pages to return to this menu.

Sample2, Contact Lenses : This sample has previous and next buttons on each page.

Sample3: Bioluminescence: This sample has animated buttons to move from page to page.

Sample4: Mustard Gas: This sample has a full menu on each page, allowing for easy navigation to any page from any page.
